About Clayhall Nursery

The aim of Clayhall Nursery is to 'Let your child be one step ahead...' We encourage children to learn and develop in every aspect. When the child leaves the nursery to go to school, he/she will already have an advantage.

The Nursery staff are either qualified or are training towards a childcare qualification, as training and development are seen as important aspects of constantly improving child care practice.

We excel in training children to think 'outside the box' through fun and imaginative play and work. We are more than a nursery, we give a Clayhall Nursery experience. Please see our Ofsted Report

We believe that in order for your child to excel, parents need training too. Why not visit one of our free workshops (even if your child does not attend our nursery, you are welcome to come along.) Please phone or email for more information on our next workshop. We would encourage you to join our email list too.

Clayhall Nursery recently received an award from the Pre-School Learning Alliance for being a ‘most inclusive Nursery’. We are proud to have the award certificate displayed in the main entrance hallway of the Nursery!

The award is for our work and efforts with children with special educational needs, ensuring that their needs are met in an inclusive environment. These children are given an equal opportunity to learn and thrive through adaptation and modification of learning experiences alongside other children. Special care and attention is given to their differing needs and ability levels with an approach to enabling them to feel part of the group.

Our opening hours are 8:00am to 6:00pm daily, and staff work on a rota basis to ensure that all periods throughout the day are covered.
